What are the soliciting ordinances in the town?

Door-to-door solicitation is permitted within the Town of Windsor.

If a resident has a "No Soliciting" or "No Trespassing" sign posted at or near the entrance, a salesperson is not permitted to approach the door. Concerns regarding door-to-door solicitation may be considered a criminal trespass offense.  There are "No Soliciting" stickers available at Town Hall or Windsor Police Department.

The salesperson must carry the license or a copy of the license on their person when soliciting.

Additional information about trespassing or door-to-door solicitation can be found in Municipal Code.
