Windsor Police Investigate Monday Morning Incident

Police car outside Windsor PD

On Monday, June 13, at approximately 5 a.m., a citizen was at Chimney Park, 200 E. Chestnut St., and was confronted by a male because the victim’s dog was not on a leash. At the end of the conversation, the male pointed a handgun, possibly a revolver, at the victim who then quickly hid behind a tree. After pointing a gun at the victim, the male walked away from Chimney Park with a small white dog.

The victim described the male as approximately 5’8”to 5’10” tall, and heavy set, with a receding hairline. The suspect was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket with gray stripes on the sleeves.

At this time, the Windsor Police Department has not been able to identify the suspect. Anyone with additional information about this case should contact Sergeant Stephen Wicker at 970-674-6415 and reference case #22-10612.
