Multi-Agency Effort Leads to Arrest of Windsor Man for Alleged Child Pornography Charges

On October 30 at 8 a.m., Windsor Police Department Detectives working in cooperation with investigators from Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, the Loveland Police Department, and United States Department of Homeland Security served a search warrant in the 2000 block of Meander Drive in regards to an investigation related to the possession and distribution of child pornography. During the search, investigators discovered materials consistent with the manufacture of explosives.   Out of an abundance of caution, the FBI responded to the scene. After thorough analysis and investigation, there is no threat to the community at this time.  The suspect of the investigation has been identified as Denis Gonyon (DOB 06/29/72).  Gonyon has been booked into the Larimer County Jail for suspicion of multiple counts of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Again, there is no suspected risk or threat to the community at this time and anyone who might have further information concerning this investigation is asked to contact Windsor Police Department Detectives Steven Wicker or John Grashorn at 970-674-6400.
